Company information
The National Museum ”Kiev Art Gallery” is one of the most significant collections of fine art in Ukraine. The collection includes more than 13 thousand works of painting, sculpture, graphics, decorative and applied art. The museum exhibits an invaluable collection of icons of the 13-17 centuries, a collection of works by artists of the 18-20 centuries: D. Levitsky, V. Borovikovsky, V. Tropinin, I. Aivazovsky, P. Fedotov, N. Ge, I. Kramskoy, And Shishkin, I. Repin, V. Vereshchagin, B. Kustodiev, M. Nesterov, M. Vrubel, etc.
The core of the collection was made up of monuments that mainly belonged to the Russian art school. These works are from the private collections of the Tereshchenko, Khanenko families, as well as Oscar Hansen, and are concentrated after nationalization in a special Museum Fund.
