The Odessa Conservatory (since 2012 pereimenovan – Odessa national musical Academy named after A.V. Nezhdanova) was established on 8 September 1913. Its rapid development provided by attraction of outstanding teachers-musicians from Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, St. Petersburg and Moscow. The Odessa Conservatoire became a real Center of musical art, culture and science of the South of Ukraine, center of training of highly qualified musicians, singers, composers, music scientists. This Academy conducts training on the specialty ”Musical art” degrees of bachelor, master, postgraduate, doctoral, of all academic music specialities: performers, musicologists, composers and in the specialty ”Culturology”.
