The house of organ and chamber music is located in the former church of St. Mary Magdalene (XVII century).
In 1932, an organ made in the Czech Republic by Rieger-Kloss, the largest in Ukraine, was installed in this church. This organ was restored in 1968 and 1988.
During the Soviet period, the premises housed a sports hall for some time, later a dance and concert hall, which belonged to the Polytechnic Institute, and in the 1960s the building was converted into an organ hall of the Lviv Conservatory. M. Lysenko.
