National Ukrainian music Union is one of the oldest and largest professional creative associations of artists of Ukraine. A fundamental principle of the all-Ukrainian music Union Music society named after N. Leontovich, created in 1922 on the initiative of prominent figures of Ukrainian culture: K. Stetsenko, P. Kozitskiy, G. Velkovskogo, L. Revutsky, To.Lyatoshinskogo, H. Ropes, P. Demutsky, M. Grinchenko, G. Khotkevych, N. Gorodovenko and others.
