The company is currently focused on the following crops:
Winter wheat; Winter wheat has a higher yield than spring crops due to more developed root system. In the 2008/2009 agricultural year, which usually lasts from August to July, winter wheat cultivated Agrotone approximately 50.228 acres of land. Winter wheat is sown and begins to germinate in the fall, winter is at rest, and the harvest usually takes place in late July. Globally, winter wheat is considered a valuable food grain, while lower-quality wheat varieties are used as feed for livestock.
Sunflower; Sunflower seeds are primarily intended for use in food preparation and sunflower oil, while the husk is used as feed for livestock. Sunflower has good resistance to drought and therefore plays an important role in the overall composition rotation. In the 2008/2009 agricultural year, Agrotone sunflower harvest approximately 47,619 acres of land. Sunflower planted in spring and harvest takes place in September and October.
Other crops include corn, canola, barley, rye, sorghum, triticale, oats, peas, buckwheat, vetch, millet, coriander, soy, flax and crops to feed livestock.
