Law firm ”MBLS” was founded in 1996 in Mariupol, large industrial and port city in southern Ukraine, on the coast of the Azov Sea. The original company name was ”Marine business and legal services.”
Our firm is one of the first in the country was to provide legal services in the field of maritime law and international trade. The founders of the firm are experienced professionals who knew this area for his work in government agencies and companies. Now one of the founders of the company - Lyudmila Mashchenko - is the managing partner MBLS.
According to customer inquiries, our firm worked wide, sometimes unique, practices for the conduct of litigation related to the shipping agency, international trade, investment in construction and banking.
Because MBLS started in association with one of the leading UK law firms ”Lawrence Gray” in the company were set international standards of quality legal services. Currently all the partners of the firm have experience or training in international law firms.
Our customers include shipping and other companies from the U.S., Great Britain, Greece, Switzerland, Korea, Liberia and other countries.
In 2009, to better represent the interests of their clients firm opened offices in Kiev - the location of all central and higher authorities of Ukraine and representatives of foreign states and organizations.
In 2010, with the accession to the company’s new generation of partners, it was decided to expand the practice in servicing local and international business and investment. Simultaneously, it was decided to use as a base abbreviated company name - ”MBLS” - to facilitate communication with customers and display dynamic new team.
MBLS maintains close contacts with leading law firms in the UK, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Russia.

MBLS provides Ukrainian, Russian and English. If necessary, we also employ an interpreter for rapid processing of materials other common languages.
