Semiconductor production organized in Zaporizhia (”Zaporizhsky Zavod” Transducer”) has been in existence for more than 35 years, and the Zaporizhzhia school of development and production of power semiconductor devices is one of the strongest in the CIS, and the only one in Ukraine. In order not to lose its unique experience, to preserve the viability of the domestic power semiconductor industry, 000 ”Element-Converter” was created in 1998 on the basis of the semi-conductor device workshop of OJSC ”Zaporizhsky Zavod” Transducer.
The main areas of activity of 000 ”Element-Converter” are the development, production and implementation of power semiconductor devices. Design unit 000 ”Element-Converter” is equipped with modern means for carrying out design and research work in the field of development of new and modernization of serial power semiconductor devices. New developments are focused on promising areas of development of energy-saving technologies. The application of modern technical solutions and technologies allows specialists to solve engineering tasks at the level of world achievements.
Today, 000 ”Element-Converter” offers a wide range of medium and high-power devices: diodes, high-voltage diode columns, thyristors, triacs, optocoupler thyristors and triacs, modules of various types, hybrid potential-free assemblies, chips and semiconductor elements for currents from 5 to 4000A, voltage from 100 to 4500V.
