The General Directorate maintenance of foreign missions – the organization, the main activity of which aimed at resolving all sorts of problems associated with the activities of representatives of foreign governments on the territory of Ukraine. Currently operates in Ukraine, the General Directorate of serving foreign missions (GDIP), which is designed to facilitate activities on the territory of Kyiv and Ukraine foreign missions. The organization was established in the form of utilities and provides services to the foreign offices on a contractual fee basis. In fact, GDIP became a monopolist in sphere of service of foreign missions. Despite the fact that cooperation with the GDIP is based on a contractual relationship, a lot of questions of a foreign representative office can’t solve without the participation of the GDIP. Among these questions: • Registration of vehicles of foreign missions. • The purchase of foreign missions of the real estate. • Maintenance of labor books of employees of foreign representative offices and registration of labor relations. To date, GDIP very large number of loyal customers are more than eighty foreign diplomatic missions, about three dozen consulates General, about twenty representative offices of international organisations, over 80 honorary consulates. Also customers GDIP there are various foreign firms, and people associated with them.
