Kakhovka Electric Welding Equipment Plant is the largest manufacturer and developer of electric welding equipment for arc and contact welding in the CIS countries in terms of production volumes, product range and number of employees. On October 1, 2004, the plant celebrated its 75th anniversary.
In close cooperation with the Institute of Electric Welding. EO Paton’s plant produces complex knowledge-intensive equipment with a reliable management system that allows it to strengthen its position in both the national and world markets.
The electric welding equipment made in Kakhovka successfully competes with the best samples of equipment of the leading foreign firms and is operated in 76 countries of the world, including in the USA, Austria, China, Korea. The plant is a world leader in the equipment for butt welding of rails and pipes.
At the beginning of 2007, a plant for the production of track equipment was opened and successfully started operating on the new production areas of OJSC KZESO.
The nomenclature of the new plant includes: self-propelled rail welding machines KRS-1 and modernization of PRSM-3, crushed stone self-propelled complexes SCh-100 and SCh-601, ballast planner SPZ-5.
The main customers of track equipment are railway organizations, with which the plant has been successfully working for many years, supplying railways with a unique, mobile, on the basis of the MAZ chassis rail welding complex KSM-005.
